Rose Mercie Deshommes was born in Limbé, Haiti on September 27, 1936. She was a very generous and caring person. Her sense of compassion and affection was shared with all whom she encountered. Rose loved to share heartfelt stories about her life experiences and had such a contagious love and a passion for cooking. She endured a long battle of diabetes, dementia, and rheumatoid arthritis and was rushed two weeks ago to the ER with seizures that triggered a heart attack. On January 2, 2021, Rose unfortunately passed away.

She is survived by her children: Marise Cadet, Marie Zafra (Arthur), Chantale Belizaire, and Antoine Belizaire
Her grandchildren: Francine Simplice, Danielle Fain (Javiere), Natasha Louis, Shawn Emmanuel, Stephanie Simplice, Vanessa Simplice and Christine Belizaire

Her great grandchildren: Jasmine Mosley, Javiere Fain Jr., Dawn Emmanuel, Kensei Bui, and Elijah Wright
Her brothers and sisters: Madame Antoine Lous, Madame Oven Duval, and, Ange Deshommes

Her nephew and nieces: Silvie Deshommes, and family, Audilon Deshommes, and family Nounoune Deshommes and family, Jean-Eric Duval and family, Jacques Jy Duval and family, Merlande Duval Auguste and family, Jean-Roudly Duval and family, Armelle Deshommes Michel and family,
