Obituary for Jeffrey Leeroy Barker

Jeffrey LeeRoy Barker, 58, of Wellington, Florida passed away on September 11, 2020. Jeffrey was born in Cheyenne, WY, January 14, 1962.

Jeff loved working, his family, fishing, being politically active, indoor gardening, cars and last but definitely not least, grilling (he was quite the proud grill master). Jeff was very well liked and respected in his field. He was a man of few words but when he spoke, people listened. His favorite saying was “You can’t fix stupid, not even with duct tape”.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father Jimmie LeeRoy Barker; his brothers Jimmie LeeRoy Barker Jr. and David LeeRoy Barker; his sister Susan Miller (Barker).

Surviving to cherish his memory is his mother: Ellen Barker of Spokane Valley WA; sons: Zachary Barker, Wellington FL and Derek Barker, Cheyenne WY; brother: Patrick Barker (Bobbie), Mission Viejo, CA; sister: Cheri Belcourt (Dave), Spokane Valley, WA; grandchildren: Shaylyn Barker and Tristan Barker, Cheyenne, WY; nephews: Nicholas (Marie) Barker, Cheyenne, WY and Justin Lewis (Nicole), Rosalia, WA; nieces: Andrea Barker, Cheyenne WY, Melissa (Jacob) Ojeda, Cheyenne, WY, Peri Sauceda (Alex), Lake Forest, CA and Kristen Lewis, Spokane Valley WA.; and several beautiful great nieces and nephews.

Jeffrey was cremated to be scattered at sea in the near future.
